Prélude à l'exposition

Prélude à l’exposition is the fruit of the meeting between Patrice Balvay and the dancer Margot Dorléans. The link between the big drawings, crafted with the whole body and dance is quite obvious. In her practice Margot Dorléans ties the inner space of the body and the space where it performs. From three very different drawings from the series Drawing by walking, the artist has created three dances. The outcome of the performance is to be seen as an in situ installation.
